Buzz! Revival is live!
Welcome to Buzz! Revival: the online mode of the Buzz! games on PlayStation 3 and RPCS3 is back!
The official servers were shut down years ago and nobody kept a recording of their traffic, so everything here was rebuilt from scratch by reverse engineering the games themselves. As of today the server is officially open for everyone!
What works right now:
• Online quickmatch and games with friends: PS3 and RPCS3 players can play together
• MyBuzz: community quizzes, ratings, favourites, playlists and buddy quizzes
• Leaderboards
Support for these games is still WIP:
• Buzz! Quiz Party
• Buzz! Quiz World
• Buzz! The Ultimate Music Quiz
Make your own quizzes: log into the server from the game once, then sign in here with your PSN / RPCN name and start writing. Your quizzes show up in MyBuzz for every player.
How to join: open the How to connect tab. A PS3 only needs a DNS change, RPCS3 a single line in its network settings.
This is a fan project, so expect the odd bug. If something does not work, tell us with as many details as you can (which game, PS3 or RPCS3, what you were doing).
Have fun, and see you in the studio!
